L’art de vivre à la française !
Housing
Where you live is one of the most important aspects of your study abroad experience. Accès works hard to place students in housing where they feel safe and comfortable and where they can have a chance to meet and interact with locals. Most students make connections that last far past their semester abroad. All students in the Classique and Européen tracks live either with a local host family or in a “foyer”, a university boarding house. We try to match you with housing that fits your interests. We also take into account any physical limitations or dietary restrictions that you may have. Accès staff are on call for any challenges students may face. The Accès office is centrally located, just around the corner from the university campus.
There are no hidden costs in the Accès program. Full room and board, either at the foyer or in a host family, is included in the Accès fee. See more about the Accès program fee.
Private room in “foyer” student boarding house
Accès can offer a limited number of rooms at Le Sept, a private student boarding house affiliated with a local church and close to the university campus. Students have an individual room with bed, desk, closet, balcony and internet. They share cooking facilities with the 20 other students living at the “foyer”. The Accès office and classrooms are located in the same building.
Host families
Accès works with a network of carefully vetted families who host American students. All students have a furnished private room with internet access. Students share most meals with the family. We put students and families in touch with each other before the start of the semester. so they can get to know each other–and so students can practice their French !
